A big THANK YOU to Shelly Schmidt of OhSchmidt Studios for her great pictures of Party Barn and I before and after the Saratoga War Horse Class where he got to work with a veteran. It truly was an amazing experience for Party and Mike (the veteran he got to work with!)
Here's a little bit about what he said after his time with Party Barn:
"Wanted to take this big guy to Texas. Amazing thing they have here. They fly you down from wherever you live and put you up in the Hilton. These horses are retired racehorses and have been through a lot. Everything from steroids to being kept in a stable from birth. For a veteran to connect and bond with an animal such as this big guy is incredible. Can't really describe it, still processing it."
It is so fun for me to be able to share this amazing horse with others! Party Barn will be working with another group of veterans in March!!
